Gathering for those passionate or curious about global health and development with an Effective Altruism lens
Get together with others based in the DC area interested in applying Effective Altruism ideas to global health and development. This is the first of a planned monthly series of gatherings. You’re welcome to join, whether you are the USAID Administrator or you once saw a Smile Train ad on TV.
The gathering will include:
- A discussion of Chris Blattman’s recent 80,000 Hours podcast interview, facilitated by Geoff Yip. Listening in advance is encouraged but absolutely not required
- Hanging out and eating snacks.
